What is AiX Breakout?
Fazen AiX Breakout is a free Expert Advisor (EA) developed by Fazen Capital for MetaTrader 5. It automatically trades XAUUSD (Gold) using a rule-based breakout strategy with equity-basket risk control and a per-EA drawdown kill-switch. Gold, one of the world's most liquid markets, is at its core; the new MT5 version adds Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency. It is a clean-room breakout-chaser — it does not use artificial intelligence or machine learning.
Is AiX Breakout really free?
Yes. Testing on demo costs nothing and needs no deposit. On a live account we never charge you either — no subscription, no fees, no share of your profits. Our partner broker pays us a referral when you trade with them.
Why do I need a broker account?
AiX trades inside a MetaTrader 5 account, so you need one with a broker. Opening it is free, takes about two minutes and needs no deposit.
How much do I need to go live?
No deposit is needed to test AiX on demo. To go live you need at least $100. AiX sizes its positions to your balance, so a smaller account means higher risk per trade. We recommend $1,000 or more, the balance AiX was tested on. Only deposit money you can afford to lose.
How do I install the Expert Advisor?
After opening your free account, download AiX for MetaTrader 5, go to File → Open Data Folder, copy the .ex5 file into the MQL5/Experts folder, refresh the Navigator, and drag AiX onto one XAUUSD M15 chart: it trades gold and Bitcoin from there. Our /start page has detailed step-by-step instructions.
What markets does AiX Breakout trade?
AiX Breakout trades XAUUSD (Gold vs US Dollar) on the M15 timeframe, where its breakout logic and risk controls were built and tuned — Gold offers clear breakout moves and 24/5 trading hours. Gold, one of the world's most liquid markets, is at its core; the new MT5 version adds Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency.
What are the risks of automated trading?
All trading carries a substantial risk of loss. AiX Breakout includes risk controls (an equity-basket limit and a per-EA drawdown kill-switch), but those reduce risk — they do not remove it, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
Is there a verified performance record?
Yes. AiX Breakout runs on a live account that Myfxbook tracks independently since August 6, 2026 — a young track record, so judge it as it grows. It is the only performance we publish: backtests are easy to over-fit, so we don't use them as proof. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
Can I customize AiX Breakout settings?
AiX Breakout ships with conservative default settings that suit most account sizes. Advanced users can adjust lot size, the risk/drawdown limits, and trading hours. We recommend running the defaults first and only adjusting after you have observed how the EA behaves on your account.
